Choosing a Genre to Compose In

The purpose of my research is to examine generational stereotypes and lessen workplace conflicts and struggles between people of different generations.

I think the genres that are best for what I'm trying to do are an informational website, a flyer, and a sticker (to add some creativity to the mix and appeal more to my target audience of millennials).

My audience has a basic familiarity of my topic. Most millennials and members of other generations can quickly identify common generational stereotypes, but they may not know the affect of these stereotypes, their degree of truth, or how to move on from them.

An assumption my audience might make about my topic is that the issue of evolving the workplace for millennials is unnecessary.

I will connect with my audience by establishing ethos and showing my own voice in my genres, which will relate to millennials.

The best mode for saying what I want to say is through a combination of text and visuals.

My favorite genres to compose in are personal essays and poems. My strengths as a composer are controlling my narrative and relying information in an innovative way.
