Today in class I read Prescot's paper, he is writing a personal essay about his experience wrestling in high-school. He chronicles memories from the practice room to the showers. Most of my reviewing was fixing small grammatical errors. My favorite part of his paper is how descriptive he is regarding his characters and the location is describing. His imagery appeals to all senses -- especially sight and smell, I can definitely recall the odor of a workout room. His paper appeals to pathos as well, we all can relate to cherished memories we had in high-school, whether they occurred whilst wrestling or not.

I also read Lyric's paper, she is writing in vignettes about different memories she has in her high-school parking lot. My comments focused on making sure that every scenario has the same amount of detail. Her first scenario has less of a description of the parking lot and the people involved than the other two scenarios. I fixed some grammatical errors. Her vignettes are all very attention-grabbing and make me want to know more about what happened.
